  1. this is like next level popcorn chicken!!! i’m in love!! another hilarious and delicious post as usual :) and i can TOTALLY relate to your laundry situation. i’m sending you fast laundry powers through my keyboard (can you feel them yet?!?!?!! haha) whilst admiring my leaning tower of i-wish-it-was-pisa-but-it’s-ironing over in the corner. all jokes aside, i hope your weekend amounts to more than sheet washing!! x

  2. Hi Mandy,
do you think you can also bake them in the oven instead of frying? The recipe says, you have to add only enough oil to reach 1 inch deep. So the popcorns don’t have to swim in oil? I’m just not a fan of tons of leftover-frying-oil….
    Thx!

  3. Aw man…laundry…laundry. I keep fighting it back into my closet before hastily shoving the door shut to pretend it isn’t as bad as it is..it seems to slowly be sneaking back out.

Anyway- shrimp, pork, pancetta, grease. Yes, yes, yes and yes.

  4. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I truly appreciate your efforts and I am waiting for your further write ups thanks
    once again.

  5. I just made this the other day, but like a vegetarian version instead I added rice and an egg to keep it all together and for the batter I just used corn flour and sesame seeds(I didn’t have any potato starch). And I steamed some veggies and it was the best vegetarian dish I’ve made so far and I’m not even one (I cooked for my family and my sister is a vegetarian). thank you for sharing your magnificent ideas with us, and I’m sorry I modified it so much!

  6. Not sure if you look at comments on very old posts, but your recipe doesn’t say when to add the cooked lentils to the prawn (shrimp) mixture.
