  1. I can’t understand fish sauce. It’s just an absurd concept in itself! Like fish sweat and juices all boiled into something very salty and funky. But still delicious though – who would’ve thought?

    • Hahhahahha Tora, indeed! It can only be those wonderful accident that was born out of desperation!

  2. I don’t understand the “1/4 + 1/8 cup of vegetable oil.” Are you saying it should be anywhere from 1/8 cut to 1/4 cup? Also, do you think the recipe could be doubled to feed four? Thanks!

  3. I meant to say “cup.” Are you saying it should be anywhere from 1/8 CUP to 1/4 cup? Also, do you think the recipe could be doubled to feed four? Thanks!

    • Ellen, I meant 1/4 + 1/8 cup which means 3/8 cup. But I guess you can start with 1/4 cup first and add a bit more as needed. And yeah I would think it can be easily doubled to feed more ppl!

  4. Mandy, I was wondering what would be the amount of green paste used? In case I have my own recipe for curry paste or want to buy it pre-made.

    Thank you.

    • Jennifer, you will have to significantly reduce the amount if you are using store bought, but they tend to be much much saltier. I can’t say for sure how much in total because the flavor varies so much. My pesto probably could fill 1/2 cup loosely.

      • Gotcha. I’ll certainly have that in mind.
Thank you for the advise, and compliments on your blog, it’s excellent.

  5. Trying to find the recipe for curry paste on this blog. The ones that you need for Thai curry and coconut milk. I have been scouring through the posts. Mandy, please help ! :-) love your energy
