  1. i had some pretty meh dim sum yesterday (greasy, a little soggy, boring), and i’m definitely coming around to the idea of homemade dim sum. especially because this looks immeasurably more crispy and heurng than any lo bak go i think i’ll ever see on a dim sum cart.

    it’s probably not that simple,
    but do you have any idea if and how I can replace the shrimp paste?
    I would love to make this, but unfortunately I have an allergy for all shellfish…
